Tracy Balsz is an independent marketing / pr consultant specializing in launching and rebranding products and services – to any industry.
From entertainment to corporate to hospitality to manufacturing to non-profit, Tracy has the experience and know-how to work on a wide variety of projects. A former Warner Bros. Studio executive, she launched and directed the marketing efforts for Warner Bros. Studio Facilities for ten years, before launching her own consulting business in 2005. As a studio executive, Tracy consulted and marketed 20+ individual business units within the division and was instrumental in enhancing and creating new revenue streams allowing the division to become a profit center for the studio (parent company) for the first time in its 75 years.
Versatile in both strategic thinking and hands-on implementation of all elements of marketing, Tracy’s background includes strategic marketing, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, graphic design, print, media buying, website design, online marketing (SEO/SEM/Viral), photography, video production, copywriting, advertising, publicity, market research, direct marketing, sales outreach and event production. Tracy also has a niche business, IndieMarketing, directed at helping independent filmmakers position, brand and sell their independent film projects.
Tracy provides her expertise to businesses on a retainer basis. A free consultation allows a proper meet and greet to assess the needs of the business. A proposal is drafted and presented and a working relationship is agreed upon. The first goal upon working together is to create a strategic plan that details the timeline, budget and necessary steps to meet the immediate goals. This plan is continually reviewed and updated so that the client is well aware of the implementation process. In fact, Tracy encourages her clients to be actively involved in the implementation process of the marketing program, to allow for eventual internal management of the program, if they so choose. Many of Tracy’s clients are long-term (months to years) but she also works on a project-to-project basis.
